ARTICLE 19 works in five regions across the globe: Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America and the Middle East.

By working with local partners on the ground, ARTICLE 19 is able to maintain a culturally sensitive approach and work on the issues of greatest concern to freedom of expression in the region.

ARTICLE 19 has worked on such diverse issues as capacity building through training of public officials and journalists in Europe; access to information and sexual and reproductive health rights in Latin America and the link between conflict and freedom of expression in South East Asia.
