ARTICLE 19 and BHRC are holding a workshop on 29 March for civil society in Turkey who work with refugee populations.

ARTICLE 19 and the Bar Human Rights Committee of England and Wales (“BHRC”) pleased to announce that they will be hosting an advocacy training on international mechanisms for civil society actors working with refugee and migrant populations in Turkey.

The workshop will cover how to develop and implement advocacy strategies at the United Nations, Council of Europe and European Union institutions and will explore how to access to these mechanisms and conduct effective advocacy in respect of policies and individual cases. The training will also draw on case studies of successful advocacy before these institutions.

The training will take place on 29 March, Tuesday between 15.00 – 16.30 Turkey time on Zoom. The training will be delivered in English with simultaneous interpretation to Turkish.
