From #Occupy, #JusticeForAll, to #UmbrellaRevolution new and diverse protest movements are constantly emerging. Protests have been the engines of positive social change and a major contributing factor for the advancement of human rights.
But not everyone is happy about protests.
People in power often try to dismiss protests by portraying protesters as violent and disruptive. But protesters aren’t as scary they would like us to think.
So, we made a video to challenge some of the perceptions people have of protesters as aggressive or dangerous. Many protesters are just ordinary citizens taking a stand against injustice in extraordinary ways.
