For a second year, ARTICLE 19 is partnering with the Dynamic Spectrum Alliance (DSA), continuing our work on advancing rights-based and inclusive spectrum governance – in recognition that open and efficient access to radio spectrum is key to digital connectivity, freedom of expression, and resilient public infrastructure.
The DSA Global Summit 2025, Spectrum Policy in Practice: Real-World Impacts of Regulatory Decisions, brings together regulators, industry experts, academics, and community voices to explore the ways in which dynamic access technologies, together with spectrum sharing, are facilitating new connectivity solutions.
ARTICLE 19 supports this effort as part of our commitment to highlighting how spectrum policy intersects with human rights, digital inclusion, and open internet infrastructure.
Our collaboration with DSA underlines that stakeholder diversity in shaping spectrum policies is key in the pursuit of more equitable access, particularly for marginalised and underserved communities. It reflects our shared commitment to transparency, equitable spectrum allocation and open, interoperable networks that support freedom of expression and public interest connectivity.
Complementing the highly technical and regulatory expertise at DSA, the collaboration is an opportunity to progress beyond high-level discussions to actual deliverables on social and economic inclusion. For ARTICLE 19, 2025 Summit is a path to advance practical, rights-based approaches to enable innovative connectivity solutions.
