![]() | Our Work Regions: MIDDLE EAST & North Africa ![]() Protesters demand “freedom of expression above all else” بالعربي Following its re-establishment in 2005, ARTICLE 19’s Middle East and North Africa (MENA) programme has continued to develop and expand its programme of activities across the region. Article 19 is now represented in Amman – Jordan by Sa’eda Kilani, MENA Consultant/ Programme Manager. The programme has refined its strategic priorities reflecting lesson’s learned from recent experience in the region, information from partners and the ongoing monitoring of developments across the region, in particular in Yemen, Jordan, Bahrain, Egypt, Tunisia and Lebanon. While the Programme aims to respond to freedom of expression violations and continue to explore opportunities across the region, it has identified the following as its top priorities:
