Broadcasting regulation and access to information are essential to diversity, pluralism and openness, all vital to strengthening democracy. ARTICLE 19 South America is campaigning to strengthen the creation and implementation of access to information laws, ensure pluralism and diversity in broadcasting, and the decriminalisation of defamation.
